Vacuum for Wood Floors

Make sure to use the appropriate vacuum for hardwood floors. Of course, vacuuming will maintain your floor surface without dirt and dust. However, using a beater bar vacuum will cause scratches. So you should use a sweep soft.

Also, vacuuming must be done once a week to avoid dirt accumulation on corners.  If you do not vacuum your floor every week, dust will suddenly affect your wood floor’s finish.

The right cleaning agent

Well, choosing the right cleaning agent depends on what do you need to clean or remove? In case of general cleaning, a ph-neutral cleaning will be more than enough to remove dirt. For grease, a mix of water-based cleaner with soap or detergent will work.

Have you ever dropped water on the floor? In many cases, it is not necessary to dropped water to make a water stain. Believe me! I have put a bucket of water on my hardwood flooring for a few minutes, and water stains appeared without any warning. White vinegar and lemon juice both mix with water make an excellent work dissolve those awful stains.

Hairspray and Furniture Polish

The use of polish liquid and hairspray on hardwood flooring will recover or give a better finish to your wood floors.  Also, another good option is to wipe up your floor with no-wax wood floor cleaner. We do not recommend the use of water as a liquid cleaner. As we mentioned before, liquids damage or stain the floor finish.
